    Patrick, if you’re not all Ferrar’d out, you should watch the blackout from that era, it’s definitely pretty grim but I felt it was a really realistic portrayal of an alcoholic blackout. Also Dennis hopper has a really weird role as a video art director madman

    This is one of those movies I only ever saw once, in the theater in 2006, and refuse to watch again because I don't want to taint the experience. It was the first Shyamalan film I saw in the theater, and at the time 15 year old me was too scared to check out most horror movies, and thought this looked scary from the trailers. But I loved it and had a great time seeing it with friends.

      If you loved it, you're better off not revisiting it because you should fully preserve that experience.

    Fearless is a fantastic movie. It's my favourite Jet Li movie and probably my favourite "Wuxia" movie. Not to repeat Adam's excellent summary, but by being a personal story, it managed to be a good balance between the historical stuff, and old fashioned kung fu beat them up, all contained within the redemption story. Very much recommended. Having a big martial arts tournament is just icing on the cake.
