  1. Brain Donors blu-ray ordered

Btw, you got the year wrong. It's 1992. You've seen it in 2018 🤣

  2. I get that we're serving up strawman arguments to knock down with mockery, but since we really seem to be in this mode for eternity, I would ask if you're on bluesky then how are you so in tune with what Elon is doing. i've got a twitter account for sports news and since their algo doesn't function to push information you want, the block account feature works wonderfully, to the point that I have no idea what Elon is doing unless it makes the trending topic sidebar, and even then I'd have to click on it to know more-- don't click. I don't recall any discourse about The Little Mermaid not being a biologically accurate mermaid. People expected that the live-action version of the cartoon would resemble the cartoon, same as Beauty and the Beast. The complaint I remember most was from red-haired women decrying that Hollywood kept eliminating characters that were traditionally depicted as redheads. The Disney live-action remake of the Princess and the Frog is unlikely to feature a redheaded white woman. And there won't be outrage for that either, unless you're deep in threads on 8chan to get the pulse of where the culture is. That sounds like a you problem if you are there. I think most people agree that if Hollywood wants to serve the black demographic better they could offer them stories they might like, rather than continuing to force black-faced Hans Christian Andersen tales on them. The trailer for Children of Blood and Bone looks fantastic and I think most people not still fighting on either side of the culture war feel like that should be a trend. Audiences will support afrofuturism movies if they get them as they like things they've not seen done to death. Stop blaming the audience instead of the industry that refuses to make them. There's no left and right wing movie audience.

  3. Unfortunately, I know what Elon is doing because the media still gives him time and space to share his idiotic opinions. I will never stop mocking him. And to say there's no left and right wing movie audience is definitely not true. I think one of of those audiences actually shows up at the box office.

  4. ok, feel sorry for you but sounds like you want to perpetuate that partisan nonsense. i guess we should be thankful we didn't have to see Siskel & Ebert reviews cheapened to a debate on whether Super Girl owned the chuds.

    1. So, just to clear, calling out rage bait/racist debate about movies is partisan nonsense? Don't feel sorry for me. I'm good. Enjoy your bubble.

    2. you are the racist/rage bait debate you are crying about. you are participating in that doom spiral. it's not interesting to listen to because you have nothing of substance to bring to a discussion about movies if that's what you peddle in.

    3. you got the right idea though, maybe if one more person joins the cacophony of people publishing content pointing out how toxic movie fandom is, that will make the difference. good luck.

  5. Great ep. was laughing out loud at any mention of the dog and rollercoaster. I recently watched Perfect Stranger. It's insane but I still think the ultimate peak of insanity in this genre is Consenting Adults.

Also I'm a different Matt just FYI to the F-heads

    1. I don't mean to rewrite a movie that's already been made but dog on a rollercoaster really could have bumped this one up a star

    2. Consenting Adults is on my Thrill Seeker list. That movie is BANANAS
