  1. I've watched this movie so many times. A couple of times in theater when it opened, then the blu-ray and the 4k a gazillion time. Also the soundtrack was in regular rotation in my ears while going to work.

  2. Great ep on a great movie!!

    A few rando comments:

    * Blue Thunder. LOVED this flick as a kid. J.A.F.O. Reflecting now, i feel like it tried to bridge some of the classic conspiracy thrillers of the 70s (conversation, parallax, marathon man, etc) with a more conventional 80s action thriller. Plus you've got two amazing leads. Nothing better than a great villain, and McDowell was the perfect level of snark.

    * Prologue: Im on record as considering Nolans prologues for Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises two of my fav scenes of all time. With regards to the Opera house prologue, it was shown in its entirety before Rise of Skywalker in select theaters. I remember this vividly as the Dolby theater i saw it in played the audio at ear-bleeding levels...and i loved it. (Ironically when i saw Dunkirk in Imax, they too played the volume at insane levels..so much so that in the opening scene where a kid is running thru the streets and a gun shot goes off, i actually ducked!).

    * So glad to hear Rob callout Primer, another personal fav, as i think its very fitting in the conversation of technically complex scifi themes in movies...especially Nolanverse films. It gives we nerds a chance to deep dive on chat boards and decipher videos while also providing a regular viewer a mind flip of an experience.

  4. Thank you to the F-crew for another delightful podcast, as always! I don't mean to be a git, but I for one still eagerly await the 30th anniversary Muppet Treasure Island episode Captain Patrick promised earlier this year... :)

  5. I skipped Tenet completely in 2020 because of his insistence on going back to theaters too soon. I watched this last week with my Odyssey obsessed daughter and LOVED IT. But I’m a guy trying to show my daughter how we can unlock a chronological cut on my Memento dvd. Turns out she loves Holland and Damon more than Nolan.
And I matched Rob on 3, 9, 12 & 13 Nolans which is not bad.
