Thirty years ago this week, audiences flocked to the theater to see the release of the third Nightmare on Elm Street film. Dream Warriors has since topped horror fans’ NOES rankings and stands as my personal favorite of the entire franchise. When it comes time to choose an Elm Street movie to watch, I keep returning to Weston Hills Psychiatric Hospital to witness a group of troubled teens turn their weaknesses into strengths, and go toe-to-toe with pure evil.
