2015 Oscars: Can't Get it Wrong With Music!
by Melissa Uhrin
In yet another award show filled with uncomfortable jokes delivered in uncomfortable style, endless snubs of award-worthy films, and an overall production that many news sources are dubbing the most boring Academy Awards yet, I thought I should focus on what tends to never steer me wrong: the music. Follow me, if you will, on a trip down musical lane.

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug: The Best Trailerz of 2012
You guys killed it this week. Great participation, great comments, great enthusiasm for everyone's top 10 lists (looking forward to reading all of yours tomorrow!). Today, I'm highlighting some of the best TRAILERZ (I know, kinda boring [because I'm lazy]) from last year. Now, these aren't the trailerz from the year's best movies, nor am I featuring awesome trailzers for yet-to-be-released films (e.g., Man of Steel). These are just the best looking, most exciting, funniest, fun, most kick-ass previews from 2012, in no particular order. Tell me what I'm missing in the comment section.

Mark Ahn's 10 Favorite Movies of 2012
This year, I decided to mostly focus on what I enjoyed about films on my list; I'm aware all of them have their flaws both obvious and subtle, which are absolutely worth talking about. So, what I mean is, see you in the comments.

My Favorite Movie Moments of 2012
2012 might not go down in history as a good year for great movies, but it was most definitely a GREAT year for GOOD movies. There was a lot to like this year, and so much of the good stuff this year went down so easy that I know I'll be revisiting a ton of these movies for years to come. Here are some of my favorite moments from movies I really liked, plus some great moments from movies I didn't. It was that kind of year -- even the movies I wasn't crazy about had their moments. Here they are.

25 Good Movies Released in 2012
In the next two weeks, we'll be recording our annual "Overrated, Underrated & Ugly" and "Best of the Year" podcasts. We'll be publishing lists of our favorite movies from 2012 from all of the F This Movie! contributors. With all the talk of 'best' this and 'worst' that, a lot of stuff will be flying under the radar. These movies won't make my "best of" list. They won't be on the "overrated" or the "underrated" lists. They're flawed, but they're good movies. 2012 had a lot of those. They should be recognized.

Weekend Weigh-in: What's the Best/Worst Bond Movie?
Skyfall is in theaters this weekend, but we thought we'd save that discussion for our upcoming podcast. Until then, let's hear from everyone on your favorite and least favorite Bond movies -- and remember, there are no right or wrong answers (unless your favorite rhymes with "Shmoctapussy").

My Favorite Bond: On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Scary Movie Month is over, and it was a HUGE, BLOODY SUCCESS thanks to all of you. But I don't think I'm alone when I say that it will feel good to move and go back to watching all kinds of movies -- if by "all kinds of movies," you guys are also thinking "a lot of James Bond movies." To celebrate the release of Skyfall, we're going to be publishing a series of pieces this month looking back at some our writers' favorite entries in the 50-year old Bond franchise. And I'm up first.

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (May 25)
Hey fellas, have you heard the news? This June's GONNA BE AWESOME! For every day of June (and there are 30 of them), watch a movie starring a specific star (link/list of actors above). Then, write a 50-word (or LESS [please GOD less]) review of said movie in the comment section of that day's post. IT'S JUST THAT EASY! #30starsofsummer
