We're all a little genre happy this week.

What is the Best Marvel Studios Movie?

And then we can stop talking about it until August.

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (Nov. 22)

In the vein of the blooper-filled trailer for Star Wars I shared with you a couple weeks ago, here's the derpiest version of The Avengers the web has to offer. Special thanks to OneMinuteGalactica (from Slacktory) for putting this together!

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (June 28)

June is almost over. And you are very sad. But cheer up! Only three more months till #ScaryMovieMonth! Because I blew my #Junesploitation trailer wad last week (ewww), here is a short collection of summer(ish) #HonestTrailers put together by the fine folks at Screen Junkies. Enjoy!

Riske Business: Five Requests for Marvel Phase Two

I have a complicated relationship with Marvel movies – more specifically, the movies with the Avengers. This is the group that has completed the studio's Phase One and have begun Phase Two with Iron Man 3. I like most of the Marvel movies to some extent. They are entertaining and energetic. But they are starting to bug me. These movies are not going away anytime soon. They’re too big to fail. They print money. I’m not saying tear them down. I’m saying they need to step it up for Phase Two. Here’s how.

Mark Ahn's 10 Favorite Movies of 2012

This year, I decided to mostly focus on what I enjoyed about films on my list; I'm aware all of them have their flaws both obvious and subtle, which are absolutely worth talking about. So, what I mean is, see you in the comments.

Erich's Five Favorite Movies of 2012

If 2012 was such a great year for movies, why is my list half as long as everyone else's? Am I more selective? No. Lazier? Probably -- but that's not why.

My Favorite Movie Moments of 2012

2012 might not go down in history as a good year for great movies, but it was most definitely a GREAT year for GOOD movies. There was a lot to like this year, and so much of the good stuff this year went down so easy that I know I'll be revisiting a ton of these movies for years to come. Here are some of my favorite moments from movies I really liked, plus some great moments from movies I didn't. It was that kind of year -- even the movies I wasn't crazy about had their moments. Here they are.

25 Good Movies Released in 2012

In the next two weeks, we'll be recording our annual "Overrated, Underrated & Ugly" and "Best of the Year" podcasts. We'll be publishing lists of our favorite movies from 2012 from all of the F This Movie! contributors. With all the talk of 'best' this and 'worst' that, a lot of stuff will be flying under the radar. These movies won't make my "best of" list. They won't be on the "overrated" or the "underrated" lists. They're flawed, but they're good movies. 2012 had a lot of those. They should be recognized.

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (February 10)

Anyone else still recovering from last weekend's epic #FThisMovieFest? I know I am. When I close my eyes, all I see are gelflings. Thousands upon thousands of hideous geflings, direct from the uncanny valley. Funny, because it JUST AS EASILY could've been Phoebe Cates' boobs. That's what the smart money was on. "I love boobs!" -Doug. BUT NO -- gelflings. Every day. All night. Why have you forsaken me, 1982?! Here's the newest batch of trailers, fresh from Hollywood's shame oven. I'm purposely not featuring The Amazing Spider-Man (it's here if you really want to see it), because a.) it's already been showcased on this site before, and b.) really? Really. Really? C'mon. Few movies (not just superhero films) are better than Spider-Man 2. Can't we all just leave well enough alone?
