Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (June 28)

June is almost over. And you are very sad. But cheer up! Only three more months till #ScaryMovieMonth! Because I blew my #Junesploitation trailer wad last week (ewww), here is a short collection of summer(ish) #HonestTrailers put together by the fine folks at Screen Junkies. Enjoy!

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (March 22)

In just a few short hours (or days, or up to two weeks, or in the last few hours or days [I'm submitting this week's column earlier than normal, so there's really no way to tell]), I'm going to be a father. HOW EXCITING. So, I figured, "Heck, why not feature a few trailerz about babiez," because we're all in this TOGETHER (right, Uncle Sol? Auntie JM? Creepy Cousin Brad L.? Mohel Adam?). A little over nine months ago [WEIRD], during the very popular (30) Stars of Summer event, I featured a preview for Baby Boom starring Diane Keaton, so it's only fitting that I feature some other pregnancy-themed films here! Full circle, is what I'm saying. Tree of life. Hakuna matata. Goo-goo, ga-ga.

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (Oct. 26)

This is it! The last six days of #ScaryMovieMonth! And, as of this writing, we have well over 700 reviews in the Scary Movie Challenge III thread. That's crazy! And great! At the same time! Do you think we can break 1,000 comments? I don't, but let's try! Homestretch, people.

For this final installment of October trailerz, I'm joined by Patrick as we examine old VAMPIRE MOVIES! Thanks for taking one (a stake) for the team (in the heart), Patrick!

Watchin' Trailerz with Doug (Week of June 6)

I had this whole big rant about disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) all ready to go for this week's introduction. It was funny and violent and the soundtrack kicked fucking ass. You would've loved it -- I swear. But then I watched the following three trailers (jump below). Let me warn all of you regular readers up front: this is, quite possibly, the worst batch of previews I've yet featured in this dinky column. Never before have I been so disheartened, disgusted and just plain confused. They SUCK. And they're insulting to everyone, not just to diehard cinephiles (a word Patrick loves). THAT BEING SAID, please watch, read and ... enjoy(?).
